The witch-hunt is no holiday adventure. The unfamiliar
environment and the challenging tasks ahead will influence your senses
and demand that you utilize your existing abilities, and perhaps even
find some new ones that you didn’t know of. These programs are based
on, and take advantage of, the unfamiliar environment in order to put
participants senses on high alert.
It further means that participants are utilizing not only their short and long-term memory, but also...
- the memory controlling motor skills such as climbing, swimming etc.
- the spatial memory will help identify objects in your surrounding
- the semantic memory that is handling general knowledge, such as how a paragraph is constructed or what is most important.
And most importantly of all; The episode memory that stores episodes
and occurrences as defined by time and space, related to each persons
own experiences.
The witch-hunt is reminiscent of a time when jealousy, distrust and
fear was common. In an organized and playful manner, the participants
will experience a sense of fear and the feeling of being followed by an
imaginary pursuer. With this background, the need for confidence,
collaboration, enjoyment and trust will increase in the group, and we
will most likely have situations that becomes a natural base for
ethical and moral discussions, as well workshops.

Day 1. We’ll meet in Salixbyn village, Lillhärdal.

participants are expected to advance across streams of water, down
hills, and other obstacles to reach the final destination. We’ll have

and on arrival the team will witness the trial(symbolically) of a young
girl, accused of being a witch. The team will act as judges and need to
collaborate well in order to resolve the matter. We conduct a short
